Saving Space
The GEMINI system features filing units mounted on carriages with ball bearing wheels, which glide on two or more tracks and can therefore be easily moved.
As shown in the drawing, this means that there is no need for side aisles, which are required for conventional fixed units, with significant savings in terms of space.
Each system is purposely-built to fit a specific customer application, thus allowing for a better exploitation of space.

Organising space
The GEMINI system normally features two-sided units fitted with a variable number of shelves and other accessories.
Filing capacity is extremely high and, most importantly, the large number of accessories available in the GEMINI range allows to customise the system to fit any storage application.
Shelves with divider, spool racks, frames for hanging file folders, drawer units are only some of the optional items included in the GEMINI range, to achieve maximum organisation.

Construction accuracy
The materials, construction processes and structural design of each individual item in the GEMINI system are of the highest quality.
The extreme accuracy assures smooth movement. The first-choice materials and special reinforcements ensure the solidity of the units. The highly reliable construction processes and treatments guarantee lasting quality.

Electrically-operated GEMINI system
Each unit is operated through a gearmotor controlled by two pushbuttons -positioned at the base of the unit itself- which set in motion the entire system to shift the unit in the direction desired.
The installation of an electrically-operated GEMINI system does not require prior levelling of the floor, thanks to a special device which ensures consistent contact between the driving unit and the tracks.
Electrical operation may be disactivated and replaced with manual operation, in case of power black-out.

Mechanically-operated GEMINI system
Each unit features a protection case, located on the external side of the carriage, which contains all the driving mechanisms.
These mechanisms are controlled by a reduction wheel connected to the carriage drive wheels.
